Group 1 - Building a Communication System for Pomona Families and Individuals:
This session seeks to brainstorm ideas of how to build a system that will help Pomona families and individuals keep up-to-date and have easy access to vital information about resources, events, and activities that can help them and encourage ways neighbors can help their neighbors. The ideas might involve technology, social media, Facebook, people networks of ambassadors and organizations, or other great ideas. Let's brainstorm. The hope is to take these ideas over the coming months and put some of them into action as early as March of 2021 while other ideas will be added at a later date.

Group 2 - How to Get Emergency Food to the Most People as Quickly as Possible
This session will focus on how to improve and build systems that can increase the capacity of Pomona families and individuals to not have to go to bed hungry. It will seek to strengthen the connections between our food pantries, people, and organizations that can help. The ideas that will emerge will help us strengthen our systems and begin to build new ones by March of 2021. The dream is to eventually build upon the systems for food security to meet other critical needs of housing, jobs, healthcare, etc. We welcome your participation and input to ensure no one goes
hungry in Pomona.

The Pomona Sustainable Food Alliance will gather experts, activists, and folks from the
neighborhoods for an interactive conversation about the role of urban agriculture in meeting the challenge of the pandemic. How might we grow a network of food hubs throughout the City—feeding ourselves and each other—while also growing our community?
